Bill LePage is the Senior Vice President of Global Sales Operations for Cisco. As part of Worldwide Sales, his organization encompasses Global Accounts, Inside Sales, Sales Enablement, Systems Engineering (SE) Operations, and Sales Initiatives and Engagement Programs. His organization enables growth, fuels productivity and provides innovative processes and programs to ensure that Cisco’s sales force achieves its revenue targets and customer focus.
Prior to his current role, LePage was Vice President of the Inside Sales organization. He transformed this organization by creating a single, global business model in all 46 locations. He led his team to grow bookings from $400 million to $1.9 billion between fiscal years 2004 and 2007, while more than doubling productivity. Also during LePage’s leadership, Inside Sales made a significant contribution to Cisco’s small and medium business segment, growing worldwide commercial bookings from 11 percent to more than 21 percent.
LePage also held positions within Cisco as the Vice President of both the U.S. Field Marketing and Sales Operations organizations. As the VP of the U.S. Field Marketing team, he created a new organization, hiring an 80-person team and designing, developing, and implementing a highly effective marketing strategy for the US Canada theater. He began his Cisco career in 1994 as Controller for the Americas.
Outside of Cisco, LePage has held finance and sales administration positions with Wang Laboratories and Polaroid Corporation.
LePage is a member of Boston College Technology Advisory Board and participates as a member of the San Jose Civic Council, an employee-managed group that directs philanthropic activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Boston College.
