Olivier Kohler

Senior Vice President, Sales Operations

Olivier Kohler leads HP's Sales Operations organization. He is responsible for worldwide and regional Deal/Bid Management, Order Management, Sales Reporting, Sales Compensation and Sales Productivity enablement functions, as well as all aspects of Customer Relationship Management activities. In order to enable growth, optimize customer and partner experience, and drive end-to-end efficiencies, Olivier is accountable for the following two company-wide objectives:

• Day-to-day execution and transformation of the “customer-to-cash” cycle

• Simplification of the sales environment

Since joining HP in 1982, Olivier has held various management positions in business, operations, IT, finance & administration, and services & support organizations. Before assuming his current role, Olivier was responsible for driving the definition, prioritization and implementation of globally consistent capabilities which provide customers and partners with a superior and seamless experience, wherever and however they prefer to interact with HP. He oversaw the operational execution of worldwide eBusiness, Channel, Sales and Marketing operations. Prior to this role, Olivier was selected among top senior management leaders from both HP and Compaq to be part of the merger executive management team. He led the integration of “customer-to-cash” activities for the HP-Compaq merger, enabling the combined companies to deliver global product and solution sales on day one of the merger. Previously, Olivier was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for HP’s Consumer Business Organization, responsible for strategic and functional direction of all information technology operations worldwide. He also has served as General Manager of the Consumer Relationship Management organization for North America; director of HP's Internet business unit; worldwide controller for HP's Product Support Division; and served in various Services and Support functions in the U.K. and Switzerland.

Born in Switzerland, Olivier holds business and information technology degrees from the Geneva Business School. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, in addition to playing tennis, soccer and jazz trombone.
